I already warn my friends and readers, don’t go to Kuala Lumpur today, 9 july 2011 but some still don’t listen. A massive jammed had been reported since the early morning. Today is a half work day for some and they need to past police road block to go to office. Some friends need to get through 3 long hours of jammed just to get out from Kuala Lumpur today. International media had been given their attention on the bersih rally with most of them say “Bersih 2.0 is a movement for Malaysia better democracy”. 1. What is Bersih 2.0 rallies
Bersih 2.0 rally organised by the Coalition for Clean and Fair Elections (Bersih) and supported by Pakatan Rakyat, coalition of opposition parties in Malaysia. Bersih, chaired by former president of the Bar Council Ambiga Sreenevasan, are pushing the Election Commission of Malaysia (EC) to ensure free and fair elections in Malaysia. The rally’s organisers plan to march on 9 July 2011 through the streets of Kuala Lumpur, culminating with a memorandum being handed over to the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Malaysia’s head of state.

5. Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim (PKR leader).
6. Tian Chua (PKR vice-president and Batu MP).
7. Datuk Megat Firdouz Megat Junid (Umno Youth secretary).
8. Datuk Abdul Azeez Abdul Rahim (Putera 1Malaysia Club president).

5. KL roads closed
Almost all roads towards KL had been temporarily closed from 12.01am to 10pm on 9 July 2011. Including Jalan Syed Putra, Jalan Istana, Jalan Sultan Hishamuddin, Jalan Lembah Perdana, Dataran Merdeka, Central Market, Masjid Jamek, Dataran DBKL, SOGO, Maju Junction and Jalan Raja Laut.
6. When the bersih rally start
The Bersih 2.0 rally only started at 1.10 pm from Pudu Plaza, passing Bukit Bintang.
7. Patriot Rally
Patriot (UMNO Youth division) movement marches down Bukit Bintang in red shirts carrying Malaysian flags and singing national songs. Khairy Jamaluddin arrives at 1.40pm to join them. He had been picked up by police at 2.55pm.
8. How many people had been arrested
By 6.30pm, Police had arrested 1,667 people, 1,500 men and 151 women. Several Pakatan Rakyat leaders have been arrested, so far. Among them are Bersih chief Datuk Ambiga Sreenevasan, PKR deputy president Azmin Ali, Kuantan MP Fuzaih Salleh, PAS deputy president Mohamad Sabu, vice presidents Datuk Mahfuz Omar and Salahuddin Ayub and Batu MP Tian Chua. Nurul Iman, Nurul Nuha, Maria Chin, Abdul Hadi Awang also detained by Police. Anwar dan Wan Azizah go back to KL Hilton. Anwar believe had been wounded in the shoulder.
Umno Youth leader Khairy Jamaluddin has also been picked up by police. Putera 1Malaysia Club president, Abdul Azeez also detained.
Almost all of them had been released at 8pm.

10. Bersih failed to handover memorandum to Agong.
Bersih 2.0 committe failed to handover its memorandum to Yang Di Pertuan Agong, they will hand over the memorandum in due time.
